Meet David Blyer

As a successful entrepreneur and executive, David Blyer has a proven track record in business development, revenue growth, financial management, operational efficiency, technology, restructuring under-performing companies and transforming money-losing start-ups into profitable ventures.

David founded DonorCommunity after a long and successful career as a technology executive and entrepreneur. In 1994, he co-founded Vento Software, a provider of packaged vertical business intelligence applications. Blyer served as CEO and president until November 1999, when Vento was acquired by Chicago-based SPSS. After the acquisition, he served as President of the company's Enabling Technologies Division. Prior to Vento, Blyer held executive management and sales positions with Graphical Information, NCR and several other leading technology firms.

He remains active in community affairs, serving as a member of the Entrepreneur's Council  at Nova  Southeastern  University  since  September  2006  and  a  member  of  the University's Blue Ribbon Scholarship Committee. He received the Nova Southeastern University Student Lifetime Achievement Award for 2013 Alumnus of the Year. Since November 1998, he has also been a Director of EVI, USA.

David received his MBA in Finance from Nova Southeastern University and his BA in Business Management from the University of South Florida. He is married with three sons.
